A cervical headache is a headache referred from dysfunctions of the joints, muscles or soft tissues in the neck. Anyone can suffer cervical headaches, but predisposing factors include: 1. Neck trauma e.g. ‘whiplash’ 2. Poor posture 3. Stress Treatment of cervical headaches requires correction of the dysfunctions occurring in the neck. These dysfunctions can be assessed and corrected by a Physiotherapist.
